ON THE INCORPORATION OF METHIONINE 35S INTO PROTEINS DETECTABLE BY AUTORADIOGRAPHY

As measured by autoradiographs, thioglycollate does not reduce the activity from sulphur in the proteins of the early chick embryo, if the sulphur has been presented as methionine. This indicates that the sulphur is peptide-bonded. Submitted on November 18, 1957
